Maintaining hope and dignity for the young Afghan generation
Pascale Bastide and Patrick Pleutin work for many years to present the Cultural Heritage of a country in which many civilizations flourished, giving young Afghans the opportunity to rediscover their Cultural Identity and the pride of its inheritance. And to share it with the rest of the world.
Nobody was better qualified to work on that matter than the young Afghan artists, graduates of Fine Arts section of the University of Kabul.
In collaboration with scholars and museum curators, from National Archives in Kabul, le Louvre and the musée des Arts Asiatiques Guimet in Paris, led and supported by Pascale Bastide and Patrick Pleutin, as Director of the Digital Design Research Laboratory at Ecole Estienne in Paris, enjoyable programs have been implemented.
Today, Afghanculturemuseum continues its mission and stands with Afghan women to showcase their talent and creativity, in order to safeguard a savoir-faire for a brighter future.
